Prosthetic Care:

New P&O Workshop in Northern Haiti

Prosthetics Outreach Foundation is working closely with The Haiti Project of the University of Miami, FL and Justinian University Hospital, the largest public hospital in Northern Haiti, to establish and support the operations of a prosthetics and orthotics workshop at the Justinian University Hospital. A building near the hospital has completed renovations which will house the workshop.

POF gathered and shipped essential equipment and supplies for the new workshop in Cap Haitien, Haiti. Further, two Haitian technicians have been selected to receive training as orthopedic technologists.
